MHWA QUARTERLY MEETING
AND
SPECIAL LUNCH RECEPTION FOR
BETSY SHELDON

California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office
Mental Health Services Coordinator

Host/ College: Diane Avelar Cabrillo College

"They call it stormy Monday, but Tuesday is just as bad ..."

For our members who were not able to attend on the history making “STORMY WEATHER” day, we wanted to share these pictures.

You may recall that the weather, especially in the Santa Cruz mountains, was reportedly the worst in many years.  High winds, rain, landslides, trees in roadways, freeway accidents, and more.  It was treacherous!  Understandably, some of you even called from the roadside to say you were turning back because it was so unsafe.  And—some of us made it safely!

See highlights below

The pictures are “worth a thousand words”

 Meeting Highlights:

o   The members/attendees  networking and warmup activities were fun and refreshing

So…it was cold and wet outside, but the warm reception and conversation was the best!
